Small cafe but delicious pastries!! We got the pain au chocolate, croissant and strawberry and cream twist. The pastry was so buttery! My husband had the montblanc which he said was very good, and I had an iced matcha which was one of the better matchas I've had. Would definitely recommend!
This lovely little cafe specialises in pastries and my goodness they do it well. The sea salt potato croissant is perfectly flaky and unlike many currently popular pastries is not overly greasy. Just the right amount of butteriness without seeming like it’s been fried. The tarte tatin is glorious. Possible the best I’ve had outside France. The staff are friendly and there is limited outdoor seating. In a suburb that seems to have a new bakery/cafe every month this is a great addition.
Tucked away but absolutely worth discovering, Home Croissant is a hidden gem for anyone who appreciates quality coffee and beautifully crafted pastries. We ordered a matcha latte, batch brew, the potato sea salt & butter croissant, and the pork sausage roll, everything was spot on. The croissant was flaky, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. The sausage roll was rich and satisfying without feeling too heavy. Coffee was smooth and well-balanced, and the matcha latte had a nice earthy flavour without being too sweet. Service was friendly and incredibly fast, which made the experience even better. A go-to spot for a quick bite or a quiet morning coffee. Highly recommend stopping by!
Amazing pastries at this cozy cafe, the sausage roll was incredible - was packed with flavour yet the pastry was light and flaky. The earl grey citrus twist was also creamy, light and delicious. Mushroom toast was also topped with lots of flavourful whole sautéed mushrooms. Staff were welcoming and gave us great recommendations - would love to come back again to try more of their pastries!
We have been to Home Croissanterie a few times now and each time has been a great experience. Each time too we have tried a new croissant and each time it was a super delicious experience. Their signature is potato and sea salt. Funky combo but it really works. It's buttery with a savoury kick, Each of the croissants are just perfect, intricate and of course delicious. Coffee is on point and the atmostphere is casual and relaxed. If you do come later on in the day some of their croissants may have sold out especially on the weekend. One of the best croissant experiences in Sydney!
Came here for the variety of pastries and the croissants here. I really liked a lot of the stuff that came out of here. That sausage roll and ham and cheese croissant was out of this world I really really liked them. The crispness of the exterior was so good. The potato sea salt was decent overall a decent pastry. The croissant was ok maybe it was just me but I only found it OK. May need to revisit and try again. Not a lot of tables here so if you come when it's busy may need to takeaway. Parking can be difficult but it is at the quite side of town. The cashier at the front was so lovely and nice, definitely helped with first impressions, very helpful.
Honestly a must visit whilst in sydney, we loved the pastry’s and the man that served and made them was so lovely and made our day! definitely recommend, so delicious, left with a big smile on our face :)
Friendly staff, and I liked the mushroom pastry much more than the sweet one. I didn’t enjoy the potato one. The coffee was good and the vibe was nice.
